About this role
Join our team at Bristol Hospice and take on the pivotal role of Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS). In this position, you will be responsible for the overall direction of hospice clinical services. Bristol Hospice is a nationwide industry leader committed to providing a family-centered approach in the delivery of hospice services throughout our communities.
This position is based out of our Tacoma, WA office and supports hospice operations throughout Pierce County. Responsibilities include coordinating and overseeing all direct and indirect patient services, providing guidance and counseling to coordinators, case managers and Clinical Supervisors, assisting with budget preparation and administration, evaluating performance of Clinical Supervisors and case managers, overseeing maintenance of patient clinical records, developing and implementing orientation programs, planning in-service and continuing education programs, assuring quality and safe delivery of hospice services, and assuring compliance with all hospice-related local, state and federal laws.
