About this role

An Infusion Nurse I is a licensed registered nurse who provides basic direct patient care to patients in the home, or in an alternate infusion site, to ensure patient safety with continuity and compliance under a physician's plan of care. Works under very close direct supervision of the designated supervisor. Responsibilities include initiating, developing, and implementing basic nursing plan of care treatments, evaluating patient progress towards goals, administering medications, educating patients and families/caregivers, assessing patient needs and physical status, coordinating discharge planning, and demonstrating compliance with agency operations, policies, procedures, professional standards, and regulations.
