Home Health Registered Nurse (Pediatric Nurse)

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one skilled nursing care to a pediatric patient in the home setting.

• Monitor and manage seizure activity, ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.

• Provide total care to a wheelchair-bound, completely dependent patient.

• Administer medications and manage prescribed treatments per care plan.

• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.

• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate regularly with the care team.

• Educate and support the family regarding the patient’s care and condition.

• Follow infection control and patient safety protocols strictly.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia (Required)

• Current CPR Certification (Required)

• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience strongly preferred

• Experience caring for medically complex, technology-dependent pediatric patients is highly preferred

• Experience with respiratory support, including HFNC, CPAP, BiPAP, tracheostomy, or ventilator care preferred

• Experience with enteral feeding (NG/G-tube), medication administration, and pediatric assessments preferred

• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to recognize and respond quickly to changes in respiratory and overall patient condition

• Excellent clinical judgment and attention to detail

• Professional, reliable, punctual, and compassionate

• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team

• Commitment to providing safe, family-centered, high-quality pediatric nursing care

• Strict adherence to infection control guidelines, patient safety standards, physician orders, and agency policies

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
