Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Nurse on our team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care, support, and assistance to our guests during their recovery process (most of which have undergone elective/cosmetic procedures). This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in different healthcare settings.
Duties
- Administer medications & treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Assist with wound care, dressing changes, catheterization if necessary, and other post-operative care tasks.
- Assist with patient assessments and document findings accurately
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to and implement individualized care plans for each patient
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding post-operative care and recovery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
- Supervise and utilize CNA’s
- Cooking and Cleaning
- Provide transportation and pick up patients if necessary
- Professional and clean appearance to represent company
- Above-average communication
- Time management skills, ensuring doses and patients are on time for doctor's appointments.
- Respond promptly to staff and management
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California
- Nursing experience*, *preferably in a post-operative or surgical setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Administer an IV
- Familiarity with case management principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
