Licensed Vocational Nurse

Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Nurse on our team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care, support, and assistance to our guests during their recovery process (most of which have undergone elective/cosmetic procedures). This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in different healthcare settings.

Duties

• Administer medications & treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
• Assist with wound care, dressing changes, catheterization if necessary, and other post-operative care tasks.
• Assist with patient assessments and document findings accurately
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to and implement individualized care plans for each patient
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding post-operative care and recovery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
• Supervise and utilize CNA’s
• Cooking and Cleaning
• Provide transportation and pick up patients if necessary
• Professional and clean appearance to represent company
• Above-average communication
• Time management skills, ensuring doses and patients are on time for doctor's appointments.
• Respond promptly to staff and management

Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California
• Nursing experience*, *preferably in a post-operative or surgical setting
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Administer an IV
• Familiarity with case management principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
