American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehab position requiring 2+ years of rehab nursing experience and a MO or compact RN license.

Details

  • Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting on a hospital campus
  • 50-bed facility caring for patients recovering from brain, stroke, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic conditions
  • Specialty programs include neuro, stroke, brain injury, and amputation care
  • Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
  • 13-week assignment
  • Every other weekend required

Requirements

  • Active MO or compact RN license
  • AHA certifications required (e.g., BLS)
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in rehabilitation nursing
  • Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration
  • Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

  • Work in a modern rehab hospital featuring all private rooms, a secured brain injury unit, interdisciplinary therapy gyms, and a transitional living apartment
  • Facility amenities include a therapeutic courtyard, practice transfer room, therapy kitchen, and laundry simulation areas
  • Compliance with facility influenza vaccination policy required, with masking required for approved exemptions during flu season (November 1 through March 31)
  • Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
  • Candidates must not be employed elsewhere full time
  • Local candidates considered at a reduced rate
