About this role

Under the general direction of nursing leadership and with provider collaboration and guidance, the Registered Nurse utilizes evidence-based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and policies and procedures of Hartford Healthcare Hospital Outpatient Departments (HODs) and Medical Group, in a variety of clinical settings. This position facilitates care for a varied population of patients, which includes nursing standards of practice to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of the patient and family. This role requires coverage at Urology office within the East Region.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Associate's degree in Nursing; BSN preferred
  • One year of experience with a minimum of 1000 hours of clinical experience as a licensed registered nurse
  • Phlebotomy skills required
  • Registered Nurse, State of CT
  • Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Nursing policy compliance
  • Customer service
