How you’ll make an impact in this role
4 districts including Carmel, Zionsville, Washington Township and the Archdiocese Deliver compassionate, student-centered care within the school clinic to treat illness and injuries, ensuring children feel safe, comforted, and ready to return to the classroom. Manage individual student health plans for chronic conditions (like asthma, allergies, or diabetes) to ensure seamless, safe support throughout the school day. Coordinate care between families, teachers, and healthcare providers to serve as the vital link supporting each child's physical and emotional well-being.
Administer and track daily medications and physician-ordered treatments with absolute accuracy, maintaining rigorous, confidential health records. Lead school-wide wellness and safety screenings to proactively identify student health needs and foster a thriving, healthy learning environment.
What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.
Education
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
