Job Description
Join the 7 East Medical-Surgical team and specialize in the intricate landscapes of mental illness within the context of inpatient hospital nursing. Caring for this patient population allows nursing staff to become agents of empowerment and healing amidst chaos.
Mental health nursing in the acute medical setting is a conglomeration of clinical expertise, critical thinking, and compassion that cohesively promotes a profound difference in every patient’s recovery experience. This specialization is not just a career choice but a calling—a calling to serve, heal, and inspire hope in the face of adversity while using empathy as a tool for the patient population who needs it the most.
