The Nursing Student Success Navigator (NSSN) provides longitudinal advising, coaching, and individualized support throughout the nursing student lifecycle. The Navigator establishes meaningful relationships with students through proactive communication, personalized academic coaching, NCLEX preparation, and ongoing professional mentorship. Working collaboratively with faculty, Academic Program Heads, Student Services, and School of Nursing leadership, the NSSN monitors student progression, identifies barriers to success, coordinates timely interventions, and develops individualized success plans that promote academic achievement and professional readiness.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution with the intent within 3 years to complete a Master's degree in Nursing
Minimum of one year of nursing education, academic advising, clinical education, or related experience
Demonstrated knowledge of prelicensure nursing education and the NCLEX-RN examination
Background check required for employment
Valid driver's license in the state of employment and surrounding states
Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution (preferred)
2 years experience teaching in a prelicensure nursing program (preferred)
