About this role

Full-Time Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) position at St. Joseph Hospice in Houston, TX. Responsibilities include initial and on-going patient assessment, developing and implementing Hospice Plan of Care, educating patients and families, acting as liaison between physician/patient/family and hospice team, maintaining medical records, making supervisory visits, and participating in on-call schedule. Requires RN license in Texas, minimum 2 years experience as RN in oncology/acute care/long-term care/hospice/home health, current CPR certification, valid driver's license and automobile insurance, and EMR knowledge.

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license required in State of Texas Minimum of two (2) years full-time experience as an RN, either in oncology, an acute care setting with direct patient care, a long-term care facility, hospice or home health care. Two (2) of experience in hospice care as an LPN may be substituted for the required 2 years of experience as an RN Current CPR certification required Current automobile insurance and valid driver’s license Knowledge of EMR is required Previous Hospice experience preferred Compassionate RN with great time management skills
