About this role
Responsibilities- Under the supervision the Nurse Manager or Nursing Director:
Provides client-specific care to male and female adolescents in collaboration with Physicians and other disciplines
Assisting Psychiatrist, Physicians, and Therapists as delegated
Transcribing orders, order medications, receive and store medications

Medication administration, observing, monitoring, reporting and documenting signs and symptoms or changes in condition
Administer prescribed treatments and therapies, track, and monitor for effectiveness
Perform waived tests, administer vaccinations, and other related duties as assigned.
Monitor Labs; Screening youth for illness or medical treatment
Timely completion of Chart Audits, Staffing’s, and other nursing assignments
Maintain medical equipment, ensure nursing stations are clean and safe
Infection Control and Antibiotic Stewardship
Work collaboratively with team maintaining State regulations and Joint Commission Standards
Facilitate Health and Wellness groups
Maintain professional relationships with adolescents and their families
Provide Medication Education to adolescents and their families
Attend and participate in training and supervision as required

Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age.
Must possess and maintain registered nurse licensure with the Arizona Board of Nursing that is in good standing.
Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain CPR certifications.
Must possess or be eligible for and obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card through AZ DPS.
Bi-lingual in Spanish $1.00/hour differential
