Where You Will Work

The Mother Baby Unit is a 27 bed, couplet care unit. The nursing team is dedicated to delivering exceptional, family-centered care for parents and newborns. We support our families through one of life’s most meaningful journeys by focusing on breastfeeding support, education, and after discharge resources.

The nursing team has a strong commitment to patient experience, quality outcomes, and teamwork. We have a collaborative team culture rooted in shared governance and encourage professional growth through certification and clinical ladder. Atrium Health Cabarrus Maternity has been recognized as a high performing hospital for maternity by US News & World Report as well as a Best Maternity Care Hospital by Newsweek.

The hospital also holds the Pathways to Excellence Designation.

ExpectationsWe’reLooking For

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic carein accordance withestablished standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, andskillscommunication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Atrium Health Cabarrus is a 457-bed tertiary care facility serving Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, and surrounding counties. As a designated Level III Trauma Center, we provide comprehensive emergency services and a wide range of specialty medical care.
