About this role

The Nurse Executive is accountable for planning, developing and supervising the activities of personnel who provide health care and nursing services to the agency's clients. This position assists with the development and implementation of nursing services, objectives, policies and procedures in accordance with Federal, State and Joint Commission standards and regulations. The Nursing Supervisor under the direction of the COO will have the responsibility for; selecting field staff, orientating and on boarding staff members, completing employee appraisals and resolving issues involving employee disciplinary action and client care.

The Nursing Supervisor will conduct client assessments, re-assessments, supervisory visits, Onboard and educate caregivers, Provide support to caregivers and development of client plans of care. The Nursing Supervisor may confer with clients, their families, physicians, national account case managers or others on an occasional basis to clarify medical orders and/or discuss client care. The Nursing Supervisor may be required to provide direct client care by having specific client (s) assigned to him/her for care.
