Registered Professional Nurse II

The Registered Professional Nurse II is under the immediate supervision of a higher level registered professional nurse, receives orientation and guidance on nursing policies and procedures and nursing care techniques; develops and/or implements nursing care plans for assigned patients or clients; provides nursing care, treatment services and/or health education information. Provides comprehensive nursing care across Long-Term Care, SNF/ICF, Acute, and ER settings, including assessments, medication administration, treatments, coordination of care, and discharge teaching. Maintains nursing standards, follows organizational policies/procedures, ensures safety and infection-control compliance, and accurately documents all observations, assessments, and interventions.

Coordinates and communicates effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, residents/patients, and families. Participates in ongoing professional development, staff education, quality improvement activities, and upholds confidentiality, cultural competence, customer service standards, and regulatory requirements.
