About this role
Central Plaza, a Joint Commission accredited Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility located in Chicago, currently has full-time Nurse openings for overnight(7:00pm-7:30am). RNs or LPNs welcome to apply! We provide recovery-oriented, person-centered mental health services to adults living with mental illness.
Our facility provides holistic services with a staff consisting of social workers, mental health professionals, nurses, and direct-care staff. We offer a variety of programming and activities as well as therapeutic services with 24-hour supervision. Our residents are working on gaining and maintaining mental health stability and developing independence.
Many move out of Central Plaza and transition to independent living with community support.
Qualifications
Valid Illinois LPN or RN license. Candidate should enjoy working with this target population, have a good understanding of recovery-focused model in working with adults with mental illness. Team oriented and well-versed in crisis management. Duties and responsibilities include: Medication administration, treatment provision, and documentation.
