About this role
UPMC Health Plan and WorkPartners is hiring a flexible full-time Professional Staff Nurse, OP to work onsite at an external higher education client in Scranton. Monday-Friday daylight hours. Flex Full-Time position with weekly schedule varying between 28 and 40 hours based on business needs.
The Professional Staff Nurse is a Registered Nurse responsible for setting standards for level and quality of care, managing patient care activities, establishing collaborative relationships with physicians and healthcare providers, and demonstrating commitment to community and nursing profession. Responsibilities include quality improvement participation, patient care coordination, patient/family education, critical thinking in clinical decision-making, and professional development. Prior nursing experience strongly preferred.
