Reporting to the Special Procedures Charge Nurse this position is a professional care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members .

Education/Training/ Experience

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program required.
  • Recent critical care nursing practice within the past two years preferred (Radiology, ICU, Telemetry, Emergency Department)
  • Experience with conscious sedation preferred

Certifications/Licenses

  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Current ACLS certification required.
  • Current PALS certification required.
  • NIHSS certification required if assigned work in the Cath Lab within 6 months of hire
