About this role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides proficient, compassionate, and professional patient-centered care by effectively communicating with patients, co-workers, and providers. Provides patient care support as delegated by Provider or Registered Nurse (RN). Demonstrates knowledge of available resources within Lake Region Healthcare and the broader community to support comprehensive patient care.
The LPN practices in accordance with the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, professional nursing standards, and LRHC policies and procedures. This role requires sound clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively to ensure safe, comprehensive, and compassionate patient care.
Hours/Shifts 80 hours biweekly, day shifts, Monday to Friday
Compensation Hourly Wage Range: $23.79 - $31.99/hour. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

Education/Special
Skills
Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing. Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Ability to perform within the nursing scope of practice. Current Healthcare Provider level CPR certification upon hire or must be obtained within six months. Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening. Reliable attendance and ability to work at the clinic site as scheduled, including travel to other clinic sites. Licensure/
Certification
Current Minnesota LPN Licensure CPR Certificate Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing. Performs nursing care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, or provider, consistent with the LPN scope of practice defined by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
