About this role
As our Surgery Nurse at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, you will prepare patients for surgical procedures and provide exceptional nursing care in the operating room during their most vulnerable moments. Everyday, you will provide comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care, organizing and prioritizing patient care activities while balancing patient needs and comfort. You will serve as a patient advocate, utilizing holistic care practices and adapting to swift changes in patient conditions.
You'll also engage with the latest technology, continuously enhancing your skills, and actively participate in process and quality improvement initiatives within a fast-paced environment. Self-scheduling and in-house anesthesia support your focus on patient healing and outcomes. To be successful in this role, you'll demonstrate exceptional communication, ethical accountability, critical thinking, and the ability to seek multidisciplinary collaboration.
