About this role
Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in perioperative and operating room settings. The RN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates nursing tasks to LPNs and UAPs using criteria from the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities include assessment and diagnosis (30%), outcomes identification and planning (30%), implementation and evaluation (20%), leadership (10%), and operations (10%).
