About this role
The Division of Neuro-Oncology at UCSF cares for patients with central nervous system tumors from diagnosis through all stages of their illness. This position provides comprehensive care for brain tumor patients, working with neurosurgeons, neuro-oncologists, Nurse Practitioners, and clinical research associates. Responsibilities include direct and indirect patient care, protocol development, serving as a resource for UCSF and the community, and providing education on Neuro-Oncology protocols.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience as RN in Neuroscience, Oncology, or Research Management. Minimum 3 years experience in outpatient clinic currently working in that setting. Demonstrated clinical competence in neurosurgical nursing, oncology nursing, and/or clinical trials. Current licensure as Registered Nurse in State of California. Current healthcare provider CPR certification. NIHSS Certification. Flexibility to work at all UCSF Medical Center locations. Preferred: Outpatient Oncology RN experience, in-patient neurosurgical experience, Bachelor's Degree from accredited nursing program, Charge Nurse experience.
