Staff Nurse - Nursing Float Pool - Adult Intermediate Care Tier 1, Day Shifts

Develops, coordinates and implements transfer/discharge planning throughout episode of care. Implements nursing interventions according to department, division, and/or unit policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain safe environment for patients, visitors and staff Follows universal precautions Just in time assignments (cover sign offs, census flexing) Anticipated 4-12 hours in an area Holiday and weekend requirements Utilize a self-scheduling model Float between many units within MCU campus Percent of Time: 90% - 36 hours per week Schedule: Day shifts with holiday and weekend requirements Location: Iowa City, IA SEIU Pay Plan: PD20 https://hr.uiowa.edu/pay/pay-plans/seiu-pay-plan. Tier 1 Staff Nurses will receive an additional $5/hr. on all hours worked.
