About this role

Clinical Research Nurse position at UCSF supporting studies in the Human Imaging Core and the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation; performing established nursing procedures (vital signs, EKG, blood collection, IV placement, medication administration); coordinating clinical research activities; ensuring patient safety during radiology procedures including MRI and Nuclear Medicine scans; providing patient education; and maintaining knowledge of research protocols.
