About the Role
As an Assistant Director of Clinical Services (ADCS) , you'll help lead our local hospice team and play an important role in ensuring patients and families receive exceptional hospice and palliative care. You'll work alongside an interdisciplinary team of nurses, aides, social workers, and chaplains, providing leadership, guidance, and support under the direction of our Hospice Medical Director.
We're looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, solutions-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence. Whether working directly with patients, supporting operations, or partnering across departments, you'll have the opportunity to contribute in meaningful ways while continuing to grow your career.
What You'll Do
Lead with Compassion & Excellence
- Help lead and support your interdisciplinary hospice team.
- Lead with compassion, expertise, and a strong commitment to quality care.
- Inspire excellence across every interaction with patients, families, and team members.
- Help ensure high-quality patient care and excellent customer service.
Build & Support Your Team
- Recruit, train, and retain your team of hospice professionals.
- Help your team succeed and reach their full potential.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nurses, aides, social workers, and chaplains.
- Foster a supportive team environment centered around purpose and compassion.
Support Patient Care
- Assist with patient assessments, care planning, and evaluations.
- Help guide patients and families throughout their care journey.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional hospice and palliative care.
- Stay current with advancements in nursing and hospice care.
Build Meaningful Partnerships
- Build relationships with healthcare providers and facilities served by Inspire.
- Support strong collaboration with community healthcare partners.
- Help strengthen the patient and family experience through excellent customer service.
Be There When Needed
- Participate in occasional, competitively paid on-call duty.
- Support the team and patients when additional clinical leadership is needed.
Qualifications
- Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- At least 1 year of hospice management experience or 3 years of hospice nursing experience.
- Knowledge of hospice regulations, clinical practice, and billing.
- Strong leadership and customer service skills.
