About this role
NaphCare is hiring an experienced and motivated Assistant Health Services Administrator (AHSA) to join our team of medical professionals in the Jacksonville Pre-Trial Detention Facility in Jacksonville, Florida. As the AHSA you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals within a controlled environment to ensure the medical department is well managed and staff are meeting NaphCare policies, guidelines, and expectations. Responsibilities include providing daily oversight of clinical operations with medical, mental health, dental and allied health services, making clinical rounds, managing nursing services, supervising and coaching staff, performing administrative duties such as scheduling, record-keeping, assisting with budgets, financial reports, planning, forecasting and developing corrective action plans, assuring clinical quality standards, facilitating staff training and development, and monitoring compliance with NCCHC and PREA standards.

Requirements
- RN
- Current, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse within Florida
- Active BLS CPR Certification (American Heart Association required)
- Two years' experience in health services administration related to comprehensive medical, dental, and mental healthcare services within a correctional health care or acute care setting
- Ability to manage budgets, analyze contracts, managing complex staffing matrices between medical and mental health teams
- Excellent communication skills with proven experience leading, managing, and coaching medical staff
