About this role
Partially remote role with onsite coverage required in Baltimore, MD at Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital, Department of Utilization Management. Day-shift, full-time. The RN will advocate for appropriate care by reviewing admissions and service requests, guide complex patient journeys through case management and consultation, support the frontline care team by resolving documentation and reimbursement hurdles, coordinate seamless transitions through discharge planning, and maintain clinical integrity by overseeing compliance with federal and payer regulations.
Minimum requirements include Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date, and a Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or professional licensure at time of hire. Preferred: experience in Utilization Management, Case Management, or Clinical Documentation Improvement within a healthcare setting.
