Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN Registered Nurse license in New York
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Long-term care experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills
Key
Responsibilities
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
- Monitor resident health, report changes to physicians and families, and document appropriately
- Perform wound care, tube feedings, and other direct care tasks as needed
- Develop, update, and review resident care plans
- Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Supervise nursing assistants and collaborate with the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
