Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted RN Registered Nurse license in New York
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Long-term care experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills

Key

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
  • Monitor resident health, report changes to physicians and families, and document appropriately
  • Perform wound care, tube feedings, and other direct care tasks as needed
  • Develop, update, and review resident care plans
  • Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers
  • Supervise nursing assistants and collaborate with the healthcare team
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
