About this role
Provides and coordinates nursing care in a non-acute ambulatory, medical office, or urgent care setting in accordance with the State Board of Nursing, Nurse Practice Act, professional standards of care, state regulations, accreditation standards and Prisma Health's philosophy, policies and procedures. Provides direct nursing care within established policies, procedures, and protocols. Administers prescribed medications and treatments. Coordinates and documents patient care. Delegates tasks to healthcare team members. Educates patients and families. Serves as a role model and participates in educating and mentoring other members of the care team.
