Summary
The Nurse Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing nursing practice and operations for the assigned department. The role ensures high-quality, age-appropriate patient care; effective resource utilization; regulatory compliance; and the development and engagement of nursing staff. The Nurse Manager serves as a clinical and leadership role model with 24/7 accountability.

Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required OR must be completed within 3 years of hire.
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years nursing leadership experience, including coaching and performance management.
Licensure/registration/certification
- Current RN license in North Carolina.
- National certification preferred.
Other skills and qualifications
- Strong clinical knowledge, leadership skills, communication abilities, EHR/computer literacy, and professional presence.
