About this role
Per Diem RN position in the Intensive Care Unit at Sharp Coronado Hospital. The ICU is a 7-bed unit caring for a diverse population of medical and surgical ICU patients. The unit holds a Silver-level Beacon Award for Excellence from the AACN. Provides direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families following the Planetree Person-Centered Care philosophy. Shift is 7 AM to 7:30 PM, 12-hour shifts, requiring 4 shifts per 4-week schedule.
Requirements
- Graduate of nursing school
- 2 years clinical experience
- California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing - REQUIRED
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association - REQUIRED
- ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - American Heart Association - REQUIRED
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - REQUIRED
