About this role

Seeking a compassionate, positive, and enthusiastic individual passionate about patient-centered care to join a dynamic 7-bed Intensive Care Unit at Sharp Coronado Hospital. The ICU features a newly designed, state-of-the-art space with the latest critical care technology, caring for a diverse population of medical and surgical ICU patients. Recipient of the Silver-level Beacon Award for Excellence from AACN. Provides direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families utilizing the nursing process and critical thinking approach. Includes clinical advancement, clinical judgment and decision making, clinical leadership, and nurse-patient/family relationship responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Graduate of nursing school
  • 1 Year clinical experience
  • California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing
  • AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (BLS)
  • ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - American Heart Association
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
