Job Description

The primary role of the Licensed Vocational Nurse is to provide primary skin care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of the residents’ attending physicians, the Director of Nursing Services, or the Medical Director of the facility, with an emphasis on treatment and therapy of skin disorders. You will also assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the physical and psycho-social needs of the resident, in accordance with established medical practices and the requirements of this state and the policies and goals of this facility.

Qualifications

Current active license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of California. Graduate of an approved LVN PROGRAM. Experience in behavioral health preferred but not required. Prior Skilled Nursing Facility experience or Behavioral Health. Superior customer service and the desire to be part of a dynamic team. Strong communication, teamwork and organizational skills. Please note: This position requires the successful completion of a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
