About this role
As an RN – SDS/PACU you will assess, plan, perform, document, and evaluate professional independent nursing practice at Lakeview Hospital; to provide work direction for and oversight of the nursing care provided by unlicensed personnel; to perform and document functions such as carrying out the provider’s medical orders; to assist providers with diagnostic and treatment procedures; to provide a safe and therapeutic environment; to coordinate, communicate, interpret, and explain patient care services to the patient his/her family, health professionals and important others; to perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing, or equivalent.
- Licensed as a RN by Minnesota Board of Nursing or has a Wisconsin RN License and Minnesota Border State Registry
- Current BLS – American Heart Association or BLS – American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider)
- ACLS certification required from AHA within 6 months of start date if not present at hire
- PALS / ENPC certification required within 6 months of start date if not present at hire
- Minimum 1-year (2080 hours) recent PACU RN experience required

- Baccalaureate or Master’s degree in Nursing
- Associate Degree prepared nurses enrolled in Baccalaureate in Nursing program
- Specialty Certification in the RN’s area of expertise (e.g. CCRN, PCCN, CNOR, CPAN, CAPA, etc)
