American Traveler is hiring an experienced Telemetry RN in Kansas City, MO for a 12-hour night shift position requiring 2+ years of tele experience and a MO or compact RN license.

Details

  • Telemetry unit setting in a hospital environment
  • 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM on variable days of the week
  • Both 36-hour and 48-hour scheduling options available
  • Required to work four weekend shifts per six-week schedule block
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Floating required as needed, including to Medical-Surgical units

Requirements

  • Active RN license (MO or Compact) required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration
  • Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience required
  • 1+ years of Medical-Surgical experience preferred
  • New graduates will not be considered for this position
  • Occupational Health appointment required upon offer acceptance, including drug screen, TB test, and physical

Additional Information

  • Provide telemetry nursing care within a hospital setting
  • Must attend all scheduled orientation dates
  • Holiday coverage expected on an as-needed basis with willingness to help
  • Willingness to float to other units, including Medical-Surgical, is expected
