About this role
Conducts pre-employment and annual screenings for new hires and team members. Maintains accurate and complete Employee Health records. Administers medication and vaccines provided in the Employee Health Department.
Demonstrates compliance with mandatory meetings through attendance, written testing, or make-up sessions, and assumes responsibility for ongoing education and professional development. Maintains, monitors, and tracks bloodborne pathogen exposures and Tuberculin skin testing program for compliance per hospital policy. Assists in the organization of employee files, records, and pertinent occupational health statistics to facilitate easy access and analysis.
Employs sound professional judgment and demonstrates creativity in recommending reasonable solutions in the work environment to accommodate restrictions/limitations as it applies to workers' compensation. Assists in the follow-up of workers' compensation investigations at the request of the Manager and accurately documents findings. Other duties as assigned.
