About this role
AdvisaCare is looking for a few good RNs! We provide intermittent Skilled Nursing services for Medicare Beneficiaries in their homes, usually after an in-patient stay for illness or surgery. They need you - to help them recover their independence, learn about their disease process, dress their wounds, draw their blood, manage their drains and catheters, and PICCs or ostomies.
We evaluate their knowledge of home safety, medication management, disease management and determine needs from community resources. We set up in home therapists, coordinate care between physicians, other providers, their caregivers and family members. And we do all of this with a phone, a stethoscope, a BP cuff, a bag of supplies and our brains and our hearts.
Are YOU nurse enough?

About the employer
At AdvisaCare in Grand Rapids you work home health and hospice—skilled nursing visits, infusion, pediatric private duty, and related therapy lines—rather than a single unit floor. Headquarters is listed on Cascade Road SE; the work itself is in patients’ homes…
On your path
Home Health is a specialty you move into. Agencies want acute time first, then train the home-specific work.
