We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic acute-care hospital team in Fort Walton Beach, Florida . This opportunity is ideal for an RN who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Multiple shifts are available, with competitive hourly compensation
- shift differentials, and a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
Schedule & Shifts
- Full-Time: Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekends: Rotating weekends required
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to assigned patients.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and established clinical protocols.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Follow established infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory standards.
Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergency situations.
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience .
Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license .
Candidates may hold either an applicable single-state license or qualifying multistate/compact RN license that permits practice in Florida.
RN license must meet applicable credentialing and employment requirements.
Ability to work three 12-hour shifts and participate in the rotating weekend schedule.
- Minimum of ASN or ADN
- BLS upon hire
