Mason Classical Academy is now hiring for the School Nurse position. This Registered Nurse candidate must plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in the school setting to meet the needs of students. *Job Responsibilities* · Provide nursing services to students in the school setting based on appropriate nursing theory and nursing process. · Monitor compliance of the school health program with the standards in the School Health Standard Manual. · Maintain appropriate health documentation, including computer applications and records according to established District guidelines and policies. · Maintain timely and accurate documentation which reflects the standards of nursing practice. · Collect information about the health and developmental status of the student in a systematic and continuous manner. Formulate age-appropriate nursing diagnosis. · Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate healthcare plans for students with acute and chronic health problems. · Demonstrate positive and effective communication skills with students, families, colleagues, and community members. *Requirements* · Licensed as an LPN or RN · Trained in diabetes management Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Vision insurance Physical Setting: * School Work Location: In person
