Seasonal Registered Nurse position in the Operating Room at Medical City Arlington. PRN status with self/preferential scheduling. Responsibilities include evaluating patients prior to surgery, providing patient and family education, assuming responsibility for patient preparation, participating in surgical site verification, recognizing and responding to patient emergencies, delivering patient-centered care, and working as part of an interdisciplinary surgical team. Seasonal program requires minimum 72 hours per pay period, four weekend shifts per 4-week schedule, and two holiday shifts during the 32-week period.
