About this role
Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to support the needs in Residential Program in Covington, LA. Provides registered nursing and facilitation services for assigned clients within a designated site. Responsible for assessment and interventions for assigned residential clients; designs and implements treatment strategies based on scientific nursing theory, evidence based practice and principles to promote health and medical stability. Provides training to clients or family members regarding how to promote health, wellness and medical stability as well as to staff. Directs the practice of the LPN and/or CNA's on the unit. May participate in program's on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse is required 1-2 years’ experience in nursing is preferred Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained Ability to lift 50lbs
