Responsibilities

Schedule

Monday - Friday, within the core clinic hours of 0600 to 1800

Shift Structure: A flexible schedule, including 10-hour shifts, will be assigned by the Government supervisor to ensure clinic coverage and meet patient care needs. All shifts include a minimum 30-minute uncompensated lunch break.

General Knowledge

• Knowledge of professional care theories, principles, practices, and procedures to perform nursing assignments of moderate difficulty and experience in assessing adult and geriatric patients, as appropriate.

• Manages patient care requirements within the unit as well as coordinates with ancillary departments and outside organizations to ensure the continuum of care.

Qualifications

Education

BSN Degree. Graduate from a college or university accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Experience

Must have been employed in an Infusion Center/Clinic within past 24 months with at least 12 months experience.

Licensure

Possess current unrestricted RN License from any state.

• Life Support

Certification

Possess current ARC or AHA BLS and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) are required. Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)/Oncology Nursing Corporation (ONCC) Chemotherapy Biotherapy certification is required at hire or must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Must maintain currency of certifications at NO cost to the government.
