About this role
Rice Memorial hospital has an incredible opportunity for a skilled acute care nurse to join their 12-bed Emergency Trauma Center! In this position you would help identify and implement nursing interventions that have less predictable outcomes and evaluate the results of these interventions for a given patient population. A nurse at this level may be required to assume leadership responsibility. Casual position, minimum of 2 shifts per month, with one of the shifts on a weekend | Day/Eve/Night shifts.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN licensure in the State of Minnesota
- Working knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, public, and other providers
- Knowledge of growth and development including cognitive, physical, emotional, and chronological maturation process
- Understanding of range of treatment needed by patients of all ages including neonate, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's degree in nursing or Master's degree in nursing
