Key
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC equipment and controls.
- Perform preventative maintenance on rooftop units, split systems, package units, heat pumps, boilers, and related equipment.
- Inspect equipment to identify and resolve operational deficiencies.
- Repair electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and airflow-related issues.
- Perform emergency service calls as needed.
Installation & Equipment Start-Up
- Install, replace, and commission commercial HVAC systems and components.
- Verify proper equipment operation, refrigerant charge, airflow, and controls functionality.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer specifications.
- Ensure all installations comply with local building codes and company standards.
Customer Service
- Build and maintain positive relationships with commercial customers.
- Clearly communicate repair recommendations, equipment conditions, and maintenance needs.
- Provide professional, courteous service at every job site.
- Educate customers regarding efficiency improvements and equipment options.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment, controls, and refrigeration systems.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently.
Pay Transparency
The starting rate for this opportunity ranges from $100k to $200k annually. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility.
We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). It assumes a rate based on location and experience.
