As our Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction. Every day, you will help deliver compassionate basic care, assist with patient transport, and actively contribute to the patient's plan of care as a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, upholding the highest standards of conduct and patient well-being.   • Provides safe resident transfers from bed, wheelchair, chairs or shower chairs utilizing transfer belts or mechanical lifts, thereby, resulting in no injuries to resident or self due to poor body mechanics.
  • Report to the Licensed Nurse any changes noted in assigned residents, i.e.: skin conditions, urinary or bowel changes, vital sign abnormalities, oral intake changes, mobility changes, behavioral and/or cognitive changes, and reports to the License Nurse with 95-98% accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assures that resident's right to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property and civil rights, including the right to wage complaints daily by reporting immediately any suspected or observed incidents of resident abuse per our facility policy and procedures.
  • Performs timely and accurate documentation by writing legibly at all times to document the care provided to the patient according to establish guidelines.
  • Utilizes the electronic medical record to document the delivery of care to the patient. Documentation will be completed with 95-98% accuracy and timeliness.
  • Completion of audits 100% of the time.
