Tampa | Mon-Fri 7a-4p FT

NorthBay Home Health is seeking a compassionate RN or LPN to provide one-on-one care for a low-acuity pediatric school case . This is a rewarding opportunity to support a young student’s health needs in both school and home settings while building meaningful connections.

️ Case Details

Male nurses encouraged to apply

  • Patient: Adolescent male with a tracheostomy (not vented) and feeding tube
  • Mobility: Wheelchair user; able to assist with transfers
  • Setting: Home and school support

Schedule

Full-time, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 7am-7pm

What You’ll Do

  • Provide morning care and accompany patient to/from school bus
  • Deliver continuous, individualized nursing support during the school day
  • Administer tube feedings and prescribed medications
  • Monitor health status and respond promptly to needs
  • Communicate with family, school staff, and interdisciplinary team
  • Maintain accurate daily documentation

✅ Qualifications

  • Active RN or LPN license (Florida or Compact/Multi-State) – Required
  • Current BLS/CPR certification – Required
  • Current TB test – Required
  • Preferred: Experience with trach care, tube feeding, or pediatric nursing

Pay Range

  • LPN: $23 – $32/hour
  • RN: $32 – $35/hour
