About this role

Houston Hospice is seeking a candidate responsible for the personal care of patients/families on a field team as a participating member of the hospice team. Tasks are assigned by and performed under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Houston Hospice is the oldest, largest, independent non-profit hospice in the Greater Houston area, serving 13 counties and committed to providing uncompromising, compassionate, end-of-life care to patients of all ages and their families.

Requirements

  • Satisfactory completion of a training and competency evaluation program complying with state/federal regulations; one year experience preferred; on Texas Department of Human Services Nurse Aide Registry with no findings of client abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of client property; no criminal history or employee misconduct record that would preclude hiring; BLS Certification; reliable transportation; hospice experience; in-home healthcare experience
