About this role
Charge Registered Nurse (PRN) Medical Surgical Nights at Texas Health Plano. PRN Nights, varied hours as needed. Medical Surgical unit of 24 beds. Nurses improve the quality of care for med surgical patients such as surgeries and stroke with multiple comorbidities. Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.

Requirements
- Nursing Diploma
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
- 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting (Required)
- 2 Years Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting (Preferred)
- RN License (Required upon hire)
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire)
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (Required within 90 days, maintained annually)
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required within 90 days)
