Duties
- Supervise daily nursing operations, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal patient care delivery in accordance with Home Care At Its Best, Inc. policies and state healthcare regulations
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, promoting professional development and maintaining high team morale
- Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and respiratory care clinical documentation
- Ensure accurate medical documentation
- Coordinate interdisciplinary collaboration for complex cases involving critical & intensive care, behavioral health, geriatrics, pediatrics, and long-term care needs
- Conduct discharge planning, case management activities, and facilitate communication with patients’ families to ensure comprehensive care transitions
- Maintain compliance with nursing policy standards including long-term care regulations
Skills
- Proven leadership experience in nurse management within a homecare setting
- Excellent managerial communication skills to supervise teams effectively while ensuring adherence to safety protocols such as HIPAA and infection prevention standards
- Ability to navigate complex healthcare regulations
