About this role
Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is hiring a Full Time Emergency Department Registered Nurse for the Night Shift (7:00am-7:00pm). The RN is responsible for performing competent nursing care using the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, health promotion and evaluation. The ED is a 37-bed facility designated as a Level III Trauma Center and certified Primary Stroke Center, treating patients from pediatric to geriatric with respiratory, cardiac, septic, and behavioral health conditions. Up to $20,000 Sign on Bonus for qualified candidates.

Requirements
- RN License - Compact/Multi-State or Single State Virginia
- BLS Certification - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- ACLS & PALS or ENPC within 1 year of hire
- Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, Master's Degree, or Doctorate Degree in Nursing
- BSN or MSN preferred
- 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
