Overview
*
This position is responsible for providing clinical resources, mentoring, training and education, and clinical practice guideline implementation support to facility leadership, interdisciplinary team (IDT) members, and facility staff to support overall clinical outcomes for facilities and the Market.
- *Location: San Diego County*
- *Salary: $130 - 170k annually, DOE*
- *Travel: Ability to travel up to 80%*
- *License: Must have an active CA RN license*
- *Previous experience as NDS in skilled nursing facility required*
*Essential Duties and
Responsibilities
*
- Provides relevant and accurate information so that the facility can make informed decisions from a variety of alternatives.
- Assists facility leadership in achieving and maintaining clinical standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., Clinical Systems Reviews, mock surveys).
- Assists in developing and conducting required in-service education programs.
- Assists with quality improvement and QAPI processes.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of training, education, and the facility’s QAPI processes and outcomes.
- Serves as an Educator for nursing and ancillary staff.
